Punta Leona is a hidden gem and my favorite beach to visit from San José. Just a short 1-1.5 hour drive takes us to white sand beaches, lush rainforest, crystal clear waters, and tranquility. There are two beaches we can visit just minutes apart - Playa Blanca and Playa Matas.
